Showing Kinky Love Issue 3 #SOSS

share our shit saturday and showing kinky love issue 3

Another Saturday, another day to show kinky love as part of Share Our Shit Saturday. This week’s picks fall into two categories: kinky fuckery and life in Dominance and submission. We all do all of it differently so it’s good to read as many perspectives as possible. If you’re not following these bloggers already, check them out and subscribe to the ones you love the most.

All the Kinky Fuckery

The Kink of the Week topic at the end of November was on wax play. This meant we got to read plenty of experiences and thoughts about the topic. In Bee’s Wax by sub-Bee, not only do we see a gorgeous image from their wax play, she beautifully describes her thoughts, feelings, and sensations. I could almost feel the anticipation and the wax while I read her post.

In So d’you mind if I pour wax on you? by Mrs. Fever (who’s got a dry wit that I love), she wrote my favorite kind of kinky fuckery – the realistic kind. She and her partner played with massage oil instead of wax, but the focus of the piece wasn’t on the kink. It was more about the banter, her feelings of “Meh,” and what she actually, genuinely experienced (instead of the fantasy).

The Zen Nudist caught my attention this week (as he so often does), but not for wax play. He wrote a brief and seemingly simple description of his belt that’s being used for kinky fuckery. I have a very visceral reaction to the belt when I’m in the scene with one. It never occurred to me, until I read My Belt by Zen Nudist that I could have the same reaction while reading about it. Now I know.

The D/s Experience

Technically May More’s Wax and Wane was about kinky fuckery with wax play but the part that intrigued me came later. As she detailed a memory of an experience, she wasn’t so sure it was real or something her mind had made up. As someone who’s lost big chunks of a scene to subspace or an endorphin overload, I can relate to this. A line from her piece that I love: “When I let my man inflict pain on me, I am trusting him with my body.” Yes, indeed.

Muse by Pixie Heart was a delightful look into their family life. They each inspire different things in each other, separate and together. While most of us won’t have a relationship with this many people, they’re the proof that you can, do, and will express your kinky self differently with different people. Well worth the read.

Molly Moore and her husband and Dom, Michael are amazing friends to us. We genuinely adore them and I wish we lived closer (I’m half-tempted to move to the UK one day). In Tooth and Nail, Molly shares her experiences and thoughts on tasks and rules – what works for them and what doesn’t. And while she doesn’t identify as a babygirl (as far as I know), I see so much of myself in her – especially when there might be what some of us would consider foot-stomping or pouting going on.

When you find good bloggers or podcasters that you love (us or anyone else) sharing our content with your own friends and followers online makes a big difference. For those of you who feel bad (not that you should!) because you “can’t do more” – sharing our shit does more than you know. If you can share the kink and sex blogs you love, please do.
